From September 2003 until May 2011, Becky Jane Newbold served as associate editor of the Lewis County Herald and its online counterpart, www.LewisHerald.com.  Her parents purchased the the Hohenwald newspaper in 1956 and it is still operated by members of her family.  Prior, she had the privilege of teaching 5th and 6th grade mathematics at Alamo City School.
